Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC)

Introduction: The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) is an essential internal mechanism established in every accredited higher education institution, aimed at developing and promoting a culture of continuous quality enhancement. Functioning under the Chairmanship of the Head of the Institution, the IQAC consists of academic and administrative leaders, teachers, external stakeholders, and alumni who work collaboratively to ensure the systematic improvement of institutional performance.

Vision: To develop a culture of excellence through sustained efforts in academic and administrative quality enhancement, thereby fostering a vibrant, innovative, and inclusive learning environment.

Mission:

• To build and ensure a consistent and catalytic system for conscious, planned, and integrated actions towards improving the academic and administrative performance of the institution.
• To internalize and institutionalize quality benchmarks in teaching, learning, research, and support services through participative mechanisms.

Objectives:

• To establish and apply quality benchmarks/parameters for academic and administrative activities.
• To ensure timely, efficient, and progressive performance of academic, financial, and administrative tasks.
• To enhance the relevance and quality of academic and research programs.
• To promote equitable access to education and optimize teaching-learning processes.
• To strengthen the credibility of the evaluation system and promote a learner-centric environment.
• To organize workshops, feedback mechanisms, and best practice dissemination.
• To coordinate documentation, reporting (such as AQAR), and quality circles for continuous improvement.
